The family of a girl who was seriously injured in a Phoenix car accident when her brother, the driver, turned left in front of oncoming traffic at an intersection may sue the city.Â
Lawyers representing the Phoenix car accident injury victim claim that the speed of traffic exiting Interstate 10 and Loop 202 onto Pecos Road in conjunction with the timing of the traffic signal contributes to high risk of auto accidents there.Â
While lawyers acknowledge that the Phoenix car accident victim’s brother turned in front of oncoming traffic, they believe he thought he had time to make it across. The factors of the traffic signal and the approach speed make it difficult for drivers to judge.Â
