Twenty new speed cameras will be installed on Valley freeways in an effort to curb Arizona auto accidents occurring in areas that are frequently the site of crashes, according to the Arizona Republic.

The speed cameras will help catch and prosecute speeding drivers, who increase the risk of Arizona car accidents in intersections.

Those who are caught speeding will be mailed a citation and charged a fine of $165.00. Legislators hope this will prevent Arizona auto accidents that are caused by speeding drivers.
